Writing Instrument Warranty

The Cross guarantee extends our assurance of a lifetime of writing pleasure to every owner of a Cross writing instrument through our warranty against mechanical failure, regardless of its age. 

In view of the fact that that the life of a pen can span generations and eventual damage can occur, reasonable repair charges will be levied for repairs other than mechanical failure where applicable. 

Leads, erasers, ink refills, stylus tips, fountain pen nibs, finishes, emblems and other customised decoration are excluded from this warranty as well as damage caused from impact, unreasonable use, and obvious abuse, as well as wear, ageing discoloration or other deterioration.

In the case that your writing instrument is no longer in production and cannot be repaired, BPM Australia Pty Ltd will replace your existing writing instrument with a comparable Cross product.

If you determine that you need service for your A.T. Cross product, please follow these instructions:

  1. Package your product in a sturdy container with sufficient padding to protect from damage during transit. All shipping containers and packing materials are discarded upon receipt. As such, please do not use any containers and/or materials you wish returned.
  2. Place your item in a padded envelope with a note detailing your name, address, telephone number, email address and reason for return along with Receipt of Purchase if available. Be sure to insure the package.
  3. All postage, insurance, and shipping costs are your responsibility. Charges may apply to repairs that are not covered under the standard warranty. We recommend that you ship using Registered Post, or some other trackable method. Without proof of shipment, Cross cannot replace product it does not receive.
